So yesterday there was no blog post because about 30 minutes out into deep sea many of us went down for the count…… with seasickness but I am happy to report that were are feeling much better today. I was able to crawl out of bed to catch a beautiful sun rise.

We started off our lessons with converting ship data on to an Excel spreadsheet and then proceeded to graph and interpret. Later we were finally able to study the core sample and study the smear slides. We took a tour of the stern and the multiple wenches, or pully, with Chris. We were able to learn about the engine with Dan and were even able to take pictures in the engine room.
