Have you ever stared at the moon while being out in the middle of the ocean? It is a beautiful thing to see. I had never experienced that until I got the opportunity to sail on the Sikuliaq ship. The moon appeared ten times brighter than how I am normally used to seeing it back in Las Vegas. Maybe because there is no water in Las Vegas to reflect the moon’s light so elegantly. I am happy I got to see the moon from a different perspective, but I am ready to view it back at home hiding behind the mountains. Also, so I can stop feeling the rocking of the ship that is causing me to feel so nauseous. This image is forever tattooed into my mind and I hope that you all can enjoy it as much as I do.
