Chris Wroblewski is an able bodied seaman (AB)/relief boatswain working aboard the R/V Endeavor. An AB is a deckhand. They do a lot of various tasks on board as well as stand watch in the wheel house. A boatswain is in charge of ship maintainence that does not fall under the purview of the engineers. You often see him running back and forth across the ship, in a bright shirt, for one reason or another and that is if he is not on deck. He has been a part of the Endeavor crew for 2 years. He came aboard after working in marine construction and a buddy asked him to fill in for him on the ship. He is from Connecticut, but will soon be living in New York. He has been to many exciting places including Rome and Iceland and he would like to add San Diego, CA and Germany to his exciting places list. In his free time he enjoys sleep and movies as there is not much else on a ship after a long, hard day of work. Off the ship he enjoys going fishing and spending time with his wife.
