Hey doopoo,
How you doin? I really miss your morning meows. I hope you’re soaking in lots of sun and getting all the treats from mom!
I’ve been super busy for the past week on the Sikuliaq. We’ve been participating in hands on science and technology and even got to work with a prototype machine that collects data from large bodies of water! It’s pretty incredible and wild to think that all 14 of us get to do this every day for 10 days.
It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows at first though. Many of us got seasick and it was an overall sad time for the students, instructors, and even the ship crew. Eventually we got better little by little and we were back in business in no time.
Sometimes in our free time we get to talk to the crew and they teach us about their jobs or what led them to this career path. At all times there’s at least 1 person to talk to, which I think you’d love since you run around alone at night. You’d get lots of people to interact with ^__^
I think you’d like living on a ship. There are so many places to hide and plenty of things to do, and overall it’s great getting to watch the water. Sometimes you even see seals, dolphins, or whales! Something different compared to the birds and rabbits that we are always seeing huh?
Well anyway, I have more work to do. I hope you’re having fun with mom and dad. I’ll be home soon to tell you more and I even have pictures to share with you!
