Today is Saturday February 10. After sailing for a week straight we are all rather excited to leave the cramped ship quarters. However this past week has been very eye opening for all of us. Over the seven days of sailing we have done many CTD casts, a few sediment grabs, and drills with the crew. Some of us have decided that sailing and doing work on a research vessel for weeks or even months at a time is not for them, while others are wanting to stay on the ship and not head back to land and the other work that we all have to do 0nce we get back to college. Over all I think that this expedition was a success and was an amazing experience that we all will never forget.
